Not just beef. But delicious grass-fed beef from our good friends at Boarstall Farm. With six hundred acres of rolling permanent pasture over Muswell Hill on the Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire border, it cannot get any more free range than this.
The Suckler herd consists of mixed breed cattle including Aberdeen Angus and Beef Shorthorns, producing natural grass reared beef all year round.
Boarstall Meats also significantly reduces food miles. On the farm itself there is a small processing site where a team of master butchers cuts and prepares the meat to a high class standard.
The beef is hung for at least 21 days and, although I am biased, it tastes wonderful and I am delighted to recommend it to you.

Chateaubriand
Expertly cut from the head end of a whole beef fillet this delicious tender steak feeds two comfortably and has a minimum weight of 400g.
Beef Fillet
Widely regarded for its tenderness and flavour the fillet can be cut into steaks or perhaps cooked 'en croute'. The ultimate luxury beef joint. Our fillets weigh 1.0 kgs and you will be sent at least that amount. As usual, we won't charge you if we get it wrong and send you too much!
Beef Rib on the Bone
Perhaps the signature beef roast and very impressive at the table. We sell by the number of ribs which you can choose from below but as a guide each rib weighs approximately 1.5kgs.
Beef Rolled Rib
A succulent and rich tasting roasting joint. As usual, select one of the weights below and you will receive that as a minimum and we won't charge you for any extra.
Beef Sirloin Joint
The traditional roast beef of old england said to have been knighted by a king after he'd feasted well on a roast loin. It is the ideal roast for flavour and tenderness. Choose your required size and we will make sure you receive at least the minimum weight.
Beef Topside Joint
A very lean boneless joint with a fine grain. It is best slow-roasted or pot-roasted. Select a guaranteed minimum weight and we won't charge you for any extra.
Beef for Casseroles, Stews & Mince
Delicious beef ready for you to use in a stew perhaps, or a bolognaise sauce or maybe a steaming hot steak and kidney pudding. Each pack has a minimum weight of 500g and you won't be charged for any extra if we get it wrong!
Beef Steaks & Burgers
Our selection of steaks come individually wrapped weighing 200g that's 7oz in old money! As usual the total weight sent will be at least that ordered and you will not be charged for any extra. The burgers come in packs of four weighing 450g minimum
