Packaging and delivery
To ensure your purchases arrive in the best possible condition our products are dispatched in robust, insulated cases, and packed with ice where appropriate. Because like most foodstuffs game is perishable, it is important that it can be delivered on the required day and then unpacked and stored correctly soon after it is delivered.

Where do we deliver?
Delivery by courier to virtually anywhere on the UK mainland is FREE for orders of £60 or over. For orders of less than £60 there is a delivery charge of just £7.50. There is no minimum order value. This said, it doesn’t really make economic sense to order a pack of duck and orange sausages for £3.50 and then pay a delivery charge on top. While the sausages are excellent – and we will happily dispatch them to you – you would get better value for money by increasing the size of your order.

Dispatching your order
All orders are dispatched on Thursday evenings for delivery the following day. When you place your order you will be asked to select a delivery date and offered a choice of up to thirteen subsequent Fridays from a drop-down menu. You will need to place your order by midnight on Sunday for delivery the following Friday, but please feel free to telephone if you have an emergency order. We will help if we can.

What we need from you
It's very simple. We require your order, your credit card details, your email address, a contact phone number and the delivery address. You will also be asked to stipulate somewhere nearby where your package can be left – ‘in the garden shed’ or ‘with a neighbour at number 12’ for example – should there be no-one at home. It is essential that your purchases can be delivered somewhere on the designated Friday because perishable goods cannot be taken back.

If you would like to collect orders made by phone, you are welcome to visit us at Long Grove Wood Farm, Chesham, Bucks any day except Sunday - but please check first that we are about. Web orders may be collected from the farm on Fridays. Farm Gate Sales will soon be available every Friday without appointment or pre-order.
